Further information is available below the timecard links, and is categorized based on the four pay cycles used in the public service. Schedules of pay periods are included in these links.

An M1 employee is a permanent, out-of-scope employee who is paid a constant salary and receives a pay cheque every month.

An M1 CUPE (monthly, exception-paid) employee is an in-scope (PS/CUPE) permanent or term employee who is paid a constant salary and receives a paycheque every month.

A B1 (bi-weekly, positive-paid) employee is a term (SGEU only), part time, relief, or labour service employee who is paid hourly and receives a paycheque every two weeks.

A B2 (bi-weekly, exception-paid) employee is a permanent, full-time employee who is paid a constant salary and receives a paycheque every two weeks.
